MEMBER SAFETY & PRIVACY

Your safety matters

Each individual is responsible for using wisdom and good judgment throughout the relationship process.

Before Your First Meeting

  • Take time to pray and seek God’s guidance.
  • Read the information provided about your introduction carefully.
  • Ask questions and communicate honestly.
  • Never feel pressured to meet before you are comfortable.

Your First Meeting

  • Meet in a well-populated public place such as a coffee shop, restaurant, or café.
  • Do not meet at a private residence for your first introduction.
  • Each person should provide their own transportation so both can arrive and leave independently.

Protecting Your Privacy

  • Avoid sharing financial or banking information, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other confidential information.
  • Take time to build trust naturally.

Be Aware of Warning Signs

Contact Faithfully Matched if someone pressures you to move too quickly, is dishonest, asks for money, refuses to respect boundaries, or behaves in a threatening, controlling, or inappropriate manner.

After Your First Meeting

  • Faithfully Matched will contact each member separately.
  • Contact information may be exchanged only if both individuals wish to continue.
  • If either person chooses not to continue, that decision will be respected completely.
